Hey gang,

It probably has lost all meaning hearing from us time and time again how “things are crazier than ever,” but well, it’s true. Post-production on Forest Falls is our most intense post-period we’ve yet to experience. In order to finish it on time, Michael, Alex, and I are all editing different chunks of the film, all while we continue to do pickup shoots with less than a week left until it’s release.

The good news is I’m really happy with how it’s shaping up, and couldn’t be more excited about our “new recruits” we cast for the film.

Monday morning we traveled to Lancaster, CA where our location for fulfilling the constraint  ”A location from a famous horror movie must be used” is; the desert highway from the climactic scene of Se7en. We wrapped there late morning, drove to our main location in the real life Forest Falls just outside of Big Bear, shot all day and night, then left in the morning to do additional shooting at the highway all day Tuesday.

Here are a couple of production stills taken at the Se7en location.  Back to work.
