Hi Everyone!

This week we wrapped principal photography on Finite’s February Film, Anamensis. We still have a pick-up shoot next week, and some visual effects elements to figure out, but the main bulk of filming has wrapped–and it went extremely well!

Finite Films has really become a well-oiled machine after our sometimes tumultuous first year. Even though this shoot took us from a suburban backyard to the middle of Joshua Tree National Park, our incredible cast & crew was always at the top of their game, no matter how crazy the shooting conditions became. Looking at the footage we got, I can tell you I’m particularly excited about Finite’s first 2012 release.

Today, I’m going to sit down to start editing the film, thus beginning the always intense post-production process. First, an initial edit of the film. Then revisions. Then more revisions, and more, eventually resulting in a “locked cut.” After that, we have even more work to do–color correction, sound design & mixing, visual effects, and composing the musical score. In any case, even though production is wrapping up, we still have a long way to go! We’ll keep you updated as Anamnesis takes shape over the next couple weeks.

As I like to say (usually in a slightly excited/ominous tone), “here we go…”

P.S. Here are some teaser images from Anamnesis. Check out more photos from the shoot on our Facebook page.
