A good movie never takes its audience for granted, and treats them like the smart, thoughtful individuals they are. This is more important than profit.
Our favorite movies are the ones that make us lose ourselves in the world of the film. Whether it be an escapist adventure film or an informative documentary, this is the goal of all our projects.
For us originality means adding to the conversation. If you want to make a horror slasher B-movie that’s fine!— but lend it your own voice and instead of just repeating back a string of movie cliches…add to the conversation.
Alex grew up in far-too-sunny Chandler, Arizona. Upon seeing Jurassic Park in first grade, his obsession with dinosaurs promptly transformed into a passion for filmmaking. As a writer, director, and editor, Alex loves to create and explore new worlds in his films, whether it be the anxiety-ridden perspective of a socially-inept teacher, the lush dreams of a dying man, or a lone cabin in a post-apocalyptic future.
Born and bred in the San Francisco Bay Area, Ryan has been passionate about films and filmmaking for as long as he can remember. He is excited to be able to continue pursuing this passion under the Finite Films banner, while exploring whatever genre is fitting his fancy: from horror to comedy to drama to documentary, and everything in-between.
A native of the Bay Area, Michael has been making films since a very young age. An accomplished writer, editor, motion graphics artist, and director, he has an affinity for dark, Fincher-esque styles of filmmaking, as well as optimistic, light-hearted, romantic comedies. His passion for filmmaking has only grown since the founding of Finite Films, as has his appreciation for the hard work and cooperation necessary to make a project truly special.
